An on-grid (grid-tied) solar system generates electricity from solar panels which is first used by your home or business. Any surplus energy is exported back to the electricity grid, earning you credits through net metering. You remain connected to the grid for power during nights or cloudy days — meaning no batteries are needed, making it cost-effective and low-maintenance.
After the initial site survey and agreement, a typical residential solar installation in Indore takes 3–7 working days for panel mounting and electrical work. The net meter application and final grid synchronization by MPPKVVCL may take an additional 2–4 weeks. We handle all documentation and follow-up with the discom on your behalf.
On-grid solar systems are extremely low-maintenance. The primary requirement is periodic cleaning of the solar panels (once a month or after dust storms) to ensure maximum energy generation.
